DESCRIPTION

CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOP

a) Introduction to fundamental principles
necessary for living organisms to stay alive and thrive.

b) How can we improve joint health, mobility
and structural resilience.

c) How to coordinate our bodies in movement
without creating structural damage.

d) What are the questions we need to ask
to find creative solutions for existing or new problems.

e) Movement Situations as simulations of Life:
testing and improving our knowledge
through partnered obstacle games,
through experiments
and joyful training situations.

Zero Forms / Joints Articulation:

We are highly interconnected, complex and dynamic systems and we age as a whole.

What would be simple and elegant solutions to avoid accumulative damage of our joints
and to improve their health and mobility?

Coordinations:

Without proper coordination and rhythm we can’t act in the world effectively.

Moving away from a components dominant view to relational (causal)/functional understanding, we will share with you theoretical and practical tools to develop mobility through movement.

The aim is to improve joint health and stability through multi-plane/multi-joint coordinations.

Movement Situations & Improvisation:

Open games created to increase the adaptive value of your movement qualities, your strategic decisions and your creative variability in changing and unpredictable environments.

Games helped humans to evolve into smart and sociable creatures of endless ingenuity and imagination.

Playing does not help you to learn anything in particular, rather it helps you to learn many things in a more flexible way.
