THE BEAUTY OF THE IMPERFECT, IMPERMANENT, INCOMPLETE

To remain unfinished — and still feel whole.

Some things change fast. Some change slowly.
Some changes are invisible.
Some can be predicted. Some arrive unexpectedly.
Some were predictable — but missed.
Some require response.
Some can be ignored. Some should be ignored.
And what you ignored yesterday
may demand your attention today.

We try to make sense of the world.
But meaning does not arrive on demand.
It comes on its own — like wisdom.
And often, we are wrong.

That is not failure. Life is messy, noisy, and ambiguous.
It does not follow perfect geometry.
It cannot offer final answers.

You cannot solve life once and for all.
Experience requires continuous revision
of how you think and how you act.

Isn’t this beautiful? To let go of holding.
Not becoming someone.
But becoming capable of becoming.

Uncertainty is not a problem.
It is the condition for learning.
You do not need to fear not knowing,
being wrong, or not being enough.

Because you can adjust. You can learn.
You can refine your position in the world.

To learn through movement, through error, through uncertainty.

To remain open.
To remain unfinished.
To remain in dialogue with life.

Dimitris Psomas
Freestyle Wrestling Coach

Former freestyle wrestling champion Dimitris Psomas sees wrestling as a conversation expressed through the body. Beyond the drive to win, he is drawn to the shared flow between partners—the exchange of force, timing, energy, and intention that transforms combat into communication. His approach to coaching emphasizes not only technical mastery, but also awareness, connection, and the deeper process of self-discovery through movement.
