DESCRIPTION

WHAT THIS PRACTICE DEVELOPS

In this class, joints articulation becomes a tool to:

  • explore how movement emerges from physiological need
  • create forms through guided improvisation
  • stabilize what works — without freezing it into rigid technique/ form
  • recognize when a form is no longer useful
  • adapt and transform movement as your internal state changes

This is not flexibility training.
This is adaptive coordination of internal states — and the ability to sense, monitor, and improve them through movement.

THE MEANING OF THE FORMS

A form is not something you copy.
A form is something you discover and cultivate

Each sequence you create is a temporary solution:

  • to fatigue
  • to stiffness
  • to lack of coordination
  • to the need for support, flow, or recovery

Forms are shaped by:

  • your breathing
  • your attention
  • your energy level
  • your history of movement

They are not aesthetic decisions.
They are functional responses.

FROM IMPROVISATION TO STRUCTURE

We work and combine these three phases:
1. Exploration (Improvisation)
You search. You test. You listen.
You allow movement to emerge without forcing it.

2. Stabilization (Forming)
You identify what works.
You repeat it — not mechanically, but with awareness —
until it becomes accessible and reliable.

3. Transformation (Adaptation)
You change the form as your needs change.
You expand sequences, reduce or increase complexity, change quality.

Nothing is fixed.
