Concept:
9 Mountain Cycles is
a joints articulation practice
designed to test, revitalise
and improve joints function
through complex but not complicated
integrative whole-body movement patterns.
By moving our joints we move our organs,
we influence our physiology, health and
quality of life.
What we will work on:
Discovering structural stress allowance of our joints
their shape, function and various interconnections
using spirals, rotations, arches, twists and waves.
These are 9 Mountain Cycles we will move through
addressing each joint in global network of communication
1.Stand 2. Balance 3. Brace 4. Transfer 5. Rotate 6. Resist 7. Extend 8. Wave 9. Open
Few questions we will address
1. How and till when you expect your organism to operate optimally before it declines?
2. What do you imagine could cause this decline?
3. When you consider old, being old?
4. From what age do you accept pain in your joints as an inevitable part of ageing?
5. Why are we losing movement capacities and our neural plasticity and learning declines?
6. How do you think structures of learning or training contribute to structural failure or opposite to improvement of our current state?
Why?
Because moving and
being able to move with freedom is important.
And because this freedom
can be cultivated and preserved to our old age.
